The common Thread in Cindy’s life is teaching. Cindy attended Stanford University, where she competed & trained with the Varsity Gymnastics Team and Ski Team. After graduating with a BA in Human Biology, Cindy became a certified school teacher through UBC, and taught in the Squamish Public School system. Building on her experience on the Stanford Varsity gymnastics team, Cindy became a NCCP level II gymnastics coach in order to run both the recreational gymnastics program & the High School teams in Squamish.

Teaching took a more personal turn as Cindy took on the management of Dryden Creeks Resort, a year round resort built by Cindy and Steve in Squamish. Cindy Homeschooled their 3 children, worked at the Resort, and introduced their daughters to horseback riding. Adding to Cindy’s love of skiing, hiking and gymnastics, horses became the focus of their family.

As president of the Squamish Valley Equestrian Association, Cindy participated in clinics, horse shows, Arena maintenance, and lobbying for equine trail access.
Cindy continues her love of teaching as a certified English and Western coach. Cindy loves to share her love of riding, the humbling way it builds character, and the friendships it nurtures.

At Aldergrove Twin Creeks Ranch Cindy enjoys the welcoming, supportive setting for enjoying one’s horse and educating riders. With her staff, She facilitates a variety of clinics, programs, lessons, playdays, etc., hoping to add to the enjoyment of horse ownership and riding.
